This font came about when Bill and Richard Kegler discussed producing a P22 Type Foundry font for wood type. It was digitized in 1997 from samples of an alphabet hand cut into linoleum by Czech designer Vojtech Preissig. Having moved between linoleum, digital, and now wood formats mark it as a unique offering.
